Except he isn't. He has been in the NRL for 13 seasons and played 287 games. In half of those seasons, he has played every game. In all bar 3 seasons, he has exceeded 20 games. In each of the 3 seasons he fell under 20 games, the injuries were not ones that are recurring due to the body...

Who says I can't understand it? Just because you and I come to a different conclusion as to the appropriate outcome doesn't mean I don't understand something. I never said anything like he should not be suspended, or should only be a week or two. I'm actually pretty happy with 9 weeks viewed...

And that crash was not related to the drugs in his system. Even so, a crash where nobody was injured more than minor, shouldn't double the penalty. Finally, my point (very clearly) was this incident will not bring an end to the belief that Broncos players are treated more harshly, and it hasn't.

That's our problem @Redux we are comparing to other incidents and expecting equity / consistency. It's the NRL, we should know better

It will do no such thing, unless Mam gets a penalty the same as prior incidents i.e. around 5 weeks If/when he gets double what other people got for similar offences, it reinforces the inequity, it doesn't put it to bed
