I’d just like to know if his comments are because the conversation wasn’t strictly on topic or for the attempted personal insults. I don’t really think that’s too much to ask, but the fact it’s been ignored suggests it is.

I just want to ensure I know which part you’re referring to. Is it commenting on the quotes attributed to the coach or trying to insult other posters? I only ask because other threads seem to deviate off course for pages before anything is said, if at all.
