2011 Membership

the only reason i don't get a membership is i generally have a few various people ill go to games with (people who only go to a couple games a year). so each time friends wanted to go their seats wouldnt be near mine.

if theres a way around this - someone should let me know.

I'll be taking up the new Melbourne based Below the Border membership.

Die Hard Fan section FTW! Sit with the Amigos!

It is tempting! If my mates partner doesn't drop out and therefore I can't sit in his awesome "Snob" spot I will definitely look at sitting with the yellow hat crew. I should know in the next week or two.[/quote:3iof0axk]

You will also need to pass initiation to sit with us icon_smile

For the one game they might play there per year? [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. eusa_think

Bit harsh Jeza, good on him for joining even if it is for the one game per year and other benefits he will get

I no doubt will re join but probably move to the Milton end as Caxton end sucks when you catch a bus

Wasnt really a comment directed at jeremydt, more so at the idea of it. Didnt think there would be a package for people in Melbourne giving we would only play there once per year.

EDIT: For whatever reason I wrote Beads [icon_lol1.

Most of (or maybe all of) the Victorian-based AFL Clubs offer memberships for away supporters that doesn't even include a game. Some people just like to feel part of the club and I'm pretty sure that's a big reason why the Broncos offer it.

And pretty much all the Sydney NRL clubs offer an away supporters membership - which doesn't include any games. Like my brother - he's a Parra fan (I know - embarrasing  ) and has a Parra away membership. But when they come to Brisbane he still has to buy a ticket to the game although at a rate of 2 for the price of 1 in the away supporters bay.

$255 added to the platinum membership!
That's almost $130 for each Origin game... Fark me dead! [icon_ee

I had season tickets last season and they were great, however cost a small fortune each game with drinks and post-game outings. I won't be getting season tickets again at least until I have children and my 'game going' culture has changed from getting as drunk as possible to enjoying the game with my family.

It will be just as expensive taking a family to the footy - you'll just be spending the money differently

Pretty sure your mate's spot is awesome and not snobby at all.

I've always had the same problem, but I get the supporters membership, only about $50 per year and makes me feel good just to be a member. Like it's been said, every one counts!

Where do I sit North or South end??? Going Diehard membership I really can;t afford much else at the moment.

LOL, I don't drink at games and I can easily get tanked before the game hahaha. icon_thumbs_u

Well if you want to sit near us, put my name on the form where it says "people you want to sit close to" or something. Just make sure you pick the Die Hard Fan unlicensed northern section. That's our corner.

You guys don't sit and watch the game in silence do you?? I wanna make some noise LOL.
