2012 Premiers

yeah right.....and that explains why the Roosters and Penrith got so many..it was due to their brilliance in attack...durr

the Roosters scored a massive 29 points more over the season. About 1.1 points more than the sharks per game...

the Panthers scored a massive 15 points less.... that's that theory shot to hell

That stat must be wrong I have heard time and again how Roosters are the most penalised and that Cronulla have been the least, I think that stat would be for penalties conceded.

Penalties conceded and received are 2 different stats though. CF is saying those teams receive the most penalties.

It's an interesting point he makes.

It's not a theory - that's me taking the piss out of you for making up stats just so you can circle jerk over the Sharks. For those of you who actually care about the facts, The Sharks have received 144 penalties this year - the most of any team in the comp.

144 ???....is my NRL site different to others ??where did you find that stat..I'm serious..the NRl site indicated penalties for to be 102...if I'm wrong I'll happily admit to it...maybe I've been mislead or misread it...and if so I apologize unreservedly

GF Prediction: Manly v Bulldogs

Melbourne... I think that the Broncos showed that despite the big 3, Melbourne don't have the forwards to win it. If they're close enough Slater, Cronk and Smith can pull it out of the hat though but I think the burning desire to win a valid premiership burns in those 3.

Broncos.... Could dispose of some of the less experienced finals contenders (Cronulla, Souths, Cowboys, Radiers) if given the chance but are such a boring team at the moment and can't score points. Great at the grind but no dynamic players

Doggies... Have been the form team under Hasler. I reckon this is their version of Manly's 2007. Could easily see Matai, Watmough or Tony Williams knocking out Barba in a grand final.

The rest speak for themselves.

My "seeding"

1. Manly
2. Doggies
3. Storm
4. Broncos
5. Cowboys
6. Souths
7. Cronulla
8. Raiders.

Every 100+ ranked tennis player in the world is now hoping you're the guy who determines seedings at their tournaments ...

I got this off the NRL site so...is it wrong ??

Maybe the NRL flash shit isnt working properly. I took a quick look at individual match stats on nrlstats.com and Sharks were winning the penalty count almost every match I looked at.

Well champ..I just counted them up, game by game !!! and NRL is very close to the money . An error rate in their tabulations of 2%....this is the part where you say ..sorry buddy....

Me too - I went through all 23 games and summed the totals in the penalties field - turns out to be 144 penalties to the Sharks over those 23 games!

I also calculated all the penalities the sharks have gained over the season - and I also got 144 penalities given to the Sharks

Well.....what can I say...I wrote them down and then totaled the penalties for according to the NrL site...54434743667633824134447....23 games..2 byes...25 up to date...so ,which site has got it right ??

Lol, this is very funny to read.

Read being the operative word, as I know your maths isn't advanced enough to be able to count penalties :001_tt2:

CF, the NRL stats are wrong. The reason I can tell is because the Roosters and Bulldogs are among the most penalised teams in the competition, so the fact they are leading that stats indicates that the NRL stats table is pulling numbers from the penalties against data column instead of the penalties for data column.

I apologise for saying you made up the stats, but am still happy to accuse of being Shark-eyed!

That is the penalities conceded by Sharks, as per NRLstats.com

The penalities gained by Sharks is 78446484978777694568466

Souths lack the mental strength to go all the way

I FEEL SICK LOL........I AM WRONG !!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG......I APOLOGIZE TO THE WORLD AT LARGE ...WRONG WRONG WRONG.......you are right...both and all of you are right...yuk yuk yuk...idiot me...!!!!

stuff like this makes me feel real stupid...........and humble.....
