Win 4 from 4 against those two sides. Must have been luck.

Maybe it was just bad luck that the Dragons humiliated us, and that other than that abomination we were a obviously walk up start for Grand Final Day...

Every other team upped their game come finals. We on the other hand decided to tone it down for some reason. We had a severe attitude problem as evidenced by Boyd and milf having a cry to the ref everytime they got tackled. Good to see that part of their game appears to be a thing of the past.

Yeah instead of winning 60% of games we now win 30% but at least we do it with a smile on our face.

Sometimes you have to go backwards before you can go forwards. We were cannon fodder in '17 as well. And '16. Pretty sure nobody is getting drawn into that particular circular argument with you. Our attitude was shithouse and continually declining.

Big difference between playing the top 4 sides during the regular season and in a do or die finals.

I had high hopes we would do ok in the finals considering the run we had going in too, but all it highlighted in the aftermath was we were papering over the cracks heading into crunch time.

One thing I learnt over that period is we could match it with the big teams during the season mainly through effort but when the whips were cracking and it’s do or die we were out of our league. We were brilliant front runners but when a team applied the blow torch to us we had no answers. Pretty much exactly what happened to us this year at the SCG and ANZ stadium. We have a very dumb football side football IQ wise.

It’s that side of the game I’m hoping Seibold can have a big influence on and rejuvenate because if we somehow become a smart football side and somehow match the Wayne Bennett effort game to go with it, we will take that next step and be in the top echelon of team for years to come.
