You would have to say Canada are safe now unless Nigeria can cause an upset against Australia.

Good first half from Netherlands.

They're looking comfortable out there. First time US have trailed at half time since 2011 and they aren't handling it all that well. Still, they have a lot of class in their side so hopefully Netherlands go up a gear in the second half.
 
Netherlands went away from what was working for them in the second half and conceded as a result, but a draw is still a good result.

No they don't, idiot. Yes Kerr is the face of the Matilda's but she's not our only player and it's ultimately about the team. Keeping the focus on Kerr allows the rest of the team to go about their business without any media intrusion.
 
This is embarrassing for the Matilda's.

They're now facing the very real possibility of not even making the knockout stage. They have to beat Canada which is not going to be an easy game.

Or draw with Canada and hope Ireland beat Nigeria 3-0.
 
2nd goal we conceded we just completely switched off at the back post. Missed the 3rd as I was watching the broncos game.

Foord should've got us back to 3-2.

Or would they only need a 1-0 result? If a team is equal on PD, it goes by goals for doesn't it? In which case Australia would only need a 1-0 result.
 
Was planning to watch this after Broncos but after seeing the score dunno if I'll bother.

Yeah, I think it goes points, differential, goals scored, then something like least yellow/reds
 
Australia look very uncomfortable being the team having to control the game. Given that we need to beat Canada and not just draw, Canada will sit deep af and make us play, which we can't do apparently.

Ball stolen off an Argentina defender and the ball is played across to Kgatlana who nails it from right in front. GK was never stopping that.
