This is all well and good, but these opinions are always lacking the next bit from dud journos.
Who the **** are we putting there? We can't have a convo about signing/not re-signing him if we don't discuss just what the club will do with that position. It's a position that the club always struggles to fill. Pointless conversation to be having if we have our eyes on one of our own juniors, we need a big player there.

People love to forget we wouldn’t even be at the grand final without Reynolds…… He was the most important piece to our puzzle. Yes he had a bad game but it happens. It’s unfortunately what was meant to be on Sunday. I’ve said my peace on how bad he was on Sunday but I would not say he doesn’t deserve to be part of our club anymore. He deserves more respect than that for what he has done for our club and for the boys in that team

The things that the media are saying about Reynolds are so disrespectful. Like he didn’t have a great game, but without him we aren’t in the 8 let alone the grand final. People like Read and Tallis can go **** themselves, absolute scum.

Just rewatching that Herbie pass again it's torture. Walsh was half way through a gap and throws the ball backwards to no one in particular then Haas offloads in traffic. Walsh just needed a quick PTB, the damage was done. It was a frantic unnecessary play that we have been doing all year inside 20 and it takes Reyno out of the game so many times when that is his strength.

I think Mam was dry reaching because it was pickle juice.
Walsh's vomiting is a concern - he was power spewing before the prelim apparently. He says it's from the hand spray. When I was at the game in Canberra Walshy's voms were like a laser - grim and all over the place. Like 6m projection.
Apparently the more times Alfie would spew before a game the better he played. So maybe not!?

Well .....it's been a rough few days...and I now hate a club more than the Storm.
Unsubbed and unfollowed from everything NRL related, still get a sick feeling in my stomach thinking about it.
We have a pattern of passive defense when the game is on the line, and that needs to go. Cleary really needed an assasin on him.
Bad luck Herbie, Flegler and Palasia. They won't see this dance again for a few years. We will be making Grand finals and Prems for the next decade.
Like a kidney stone this will pass. Life will move on and we'll be back again next year, better for it.

I agree that’s a piece that needs solving but I see the Reynolds handling as key to that. If you get Reynolds wrong you could end up with a 34 year old playing five games and taking up 800k. That money might mean you can’t hold onto your next seven or buy him.
I think the Reynolds contract is the first step. Then you know the timeline and money.
Did anyone see Herbie’s story yesterday on Instagram? He had a photo and hashtagged the dolphins, he deleted it not long after. I was very confused when I saw it, I’m thinking man it’s only been one day after the loss… lol but I assume the fans went crazy in his messages and it was gone.
His decisions and kick decisions mattered
It did and he had a terrible game that put a lot of pressure on the younger boys. We’ve admitted that. But it wouldn’t mean that he isn’t worthy of wearing the jersey anymore. It unfortunately was not his night but just because he had a bad game (even if it is the GF) doesn’t mean we don’t need him anymore. He will hopefully learn from this and next year he’ll be better for it. I think we need to keep him signed until we find a replacement that is ready and can be just as good if not better than Reynolds. I would love if after he’s done with playing he can continue working with the Broncos too

The minute it was game over, i switched off the stream, haven't looked at any NRL related stories, and same with any social media. No need to really, when you know that all you are going to see/read/hear is how good penrith were .. and how horrific Broncos were.
As far as any s*** being put on Reynolds .. all that is journos attempting to undermine Adam. Hate hearing s*** like "oh Adam has been a great servant to the game, brilliant player, but it's time for him to go. They always say something nice, and then just s*** all over him. My take on that kinda s*** is that they know, that in so many different aspects, Reyno will still be a weapon for us. And of course lowlife nsw media ****** don't want that happening. Especially so when they know that Adam is probably burning right now and maybe he is a bit vulnerable. Kick them when they are down, and try to get into Bronx players heads. I suspect that Adam is going to come out next season on fire, and put the scumbags journos and his other detractors right back in their places.
******* ridiculous for anyone to suggest his time is up.
Really hope that the order for a total media blackout comes down from Kev & Dave.
Players just don't need that kinda s***.

Most of us played sports as juniors. We've all had shit games. We've probably played shit games in finals or knockouts.
Reynolds and Walsh had shit games but they also played outstanding footy thru the year to get us to the GF.
I was as disappointed as all of us by some of the errors and decisions in the game but I can't blame these two blokes who were a massive reason for our success.
The season was a success regardless of the result on Sunday.
Afterall, only one team lifts the trophy.
I'm immensely proud of my team.

Me too, it was a choke, one of the great chokes too. We weren't up by 4 with 10 to go, trying to hold onto a lead, we were up by 16 with 20 to go. I was thinking "well they may score 1 try, perhaps 2".. to let them score 3 tries, unanswered? It's one of the great chokes.
All of the media would be no doubt getting stuck in and they are within their rights to do so.
Penrith did their thing but really it was Nathan Cleary making every single right decision where as our halfback barely made a play to apply any pressure to them.
