Well if he can get a contract at the Dragons the minimum wage is like 150k anyways.

There's no other way to interpret this, it was a bad move.

He backed himself to get more, and it seems he was wrong.

I'd say sharks just can't afford him.

He wants a ton of money and they've spent big on AFB, Hynes, etc.

Not exactly how I’ve interpreted it. He is an Ipswich boy, his brother and family are all based up here. It’s probably a case of if the opportunity is there and the price is right it’s something that would and could drag him away from the Sharks. It’s not like he is being offered to everyone by the sounds of it. Probably just a personal interest thing for Ronaldo which is completely understandable considering he is from up here, had Madge at NZ and from memory was a broncos fan as a youngster.
