It's a tactic that Hughes has brought into his arsenal... he kicks it whilst jumping forward and hanging his leg up in the air... got a penalty for it this year with a massive dive off the back of it.

I feel like it shouldn't be a penalty anyway because he got the charge down.

Contacting the ball, whilst also having to avoid contact with the kicker seems a bit rough.

I think NRL just need to have the caveat in there about 'dangerous contact with the leg' that can be a get out clause if a kicker is trying to pull off a massive dive.

It seems weird that I don't care all that much about the Aust league team... I find myself basically supporting whoever they play, mostly because I just want to see international league as competitive.

Every other sport I will go for Australia, but for league I pretty much only care about broncos players and then will support the underdog.

Potential 8 point try in the PNG vs Samoa game. Conversion missed but the penalty shot went in.

Absolutely silly move by the PNG player to just elbow the head of the Samoan as she scores. PNG have been smashed though, it's 22-0 in the second half. A few hair pulls and then this, poor discipline in a losing team.
