I don't give a **** if they choose to represent their heritage but NO Origin. Make your choice and jog on.
Origin should always be a pathway to an Australian Jersey.
Apparently the only ones who support the idea of playing Origin then representing a different country were the NSWRL.

I think the idea that origin is a selection process for the Australia team is a bit outdated (and from previous years selections not even true anymore).

Origin is bigger than the international game. I have no problem with players who play Origin playing for a different country.

Yep was only being trialled during the preseason... which they spent whinging and moaning about the whole time.

4 weeks ago... "this is shit and is going to create a lot of controversial decisions"

Now... "why didn't they bring that stupid rule in??"

I have twice this season heard commentators (I think once was Brandy) referring to that rule as though it was in place and saying it "will be interesting to see if it comes into play if so and so fails their HIA".... pretty embarrassing and unprofessional that commentators don't know that was only in the trials.

But , that is not the case . Even a team selected in ackowledgement of players performances . After the series .

Come the end of the season the finalists dominate the rep squads . So Origin is a stand alone event and probably played at a higher level than test matches .
And not a selection trial for the Kangaroos .

Of the NSW contigent only Turbo ( injury) and Smith didn't play.
All of the Qlders played Origin.
