2025 NRL Player Movements & Rumours

Hypothetically, if Reynolds decided to hang up the boots at the end of the year, would we have any interest in two seasons of DCE?

I say 2 seasons because I expect that's presumably the minimum term he'd want, wherever he goes.

We'd never be the top bidder, I imagine that will be the Dolphins, but if we could hypothetically get him for say $1.5 million over 2 years, which is what Reynolds was on, would we be keen to look at that?

Absolutely we would.

There are only 3 or 4 clubs who wouldn’t want/need DCE on their roster next year and we are one of them (if Reynolds stays on)

The whole wedding thing is just odd for mine. Unsurprisingly, absolutely no context to Buzz's comment at all. I mean, who from the team went? If it was the whole team or something...fair enough but if he literally just invited The Turbos or something, so what?

Edit: Lol and as I say that, I hear Des was at the wedding. Get that up ya Seibald.

Dylan Walker has been released from the Warriors on "compassionate" grounds and will join the Eels effective immediately until the end of 2026
Holy ****... that is a big blow to the wahs... they had already lost Tohu, now Walker is gone and he was their next best ball playing middle.

The speed of that from release to signing for a new club reeks of parra talking to Walker's management and getting him to break his contract.

They do have Erin Clark.

Huge signing for Parra though, they’ve just signed an elite number 7, amirite @Big Del?

Don't think Erin Clarke has the ball playing to replace Walker. He's basically an undersized prop.

He’s the Jazz Tevaga replacement. Hooker/lock hybrid

Walker gave them a different point of attack that neither of those blokes could/can.

Wasn’t he playing bench hooker for the Titans? There must be something in there?
He hasn't played hooker for a while... titans used him as one of those smaller forwards with a lightning ptb... and he has been causing us issues ever since!!

But they also had Verrils and Randall in the same 17 as him, so I think they wanted him as far away from hooker as possible.

I haven't necessarily paid too much attention to the wahs... mostly paying attention to how they play without Tohu... but I've not seen much from Clarke compared to the level that Tohu and Walker provided them.

That ball playing is a big component of the wahs attack as well and it's just been destroyed over an off-season.

There's too many blokes named Dylan playing these days.

Dylan Edwards (fullback)
Dylan Brown (five-eighth, not to be confused with a utility)
Dylan Walker (utility, not to be confused with a five-eighth)
Dylan Egan (second-row)
Dylan Lucas (second row)
Dylan Coutts (yet to debut)

Is that a lot?
