2025 Pre-season discussion. The Madge dynasty begins.

Not sure angry Haas- like in origin is sustainable for a whole season, unless of course he plays much fewer minutes.

Article in the Tele where Payne Haas provides some updates:

- imposed a booze ban for himself for all of 2025
- great opportunity under Madge to do so ething special
- getting flogged in preseason excites him
- will be fully fit for round 1
- will be back to full training in a fortnight
- shouldn't have played game against Dolphins where injured

Hopefully the very high standards Payne sets for himself rubs off on your other players and they follow his lead.

Tell ya what Rabbitoh why don`t you just shout the BHQ forum a subscription to the Sydney Daily Telegraph and save yourself the trouble of quoting them then adding your own pearls of wisdom .
You know like , cut out the middle man kinda style ? LOl .

I’m not sure he realises the same stories are in the courier mail 😆

Payne could be a real possibility of being the future captain of the team.
Have a feeling we are going to see different Payne Haas this year under Madge.
**** I hope not. He is a dumbass and has pulled way to much shit in the past to be able to trust him with a key position at the club. I would like our captain to be intelligent and show proper leadership qualities. Patty fits that mould and should be the next captain end of story. There is no one else at the club besides Reynolds who could hold a candle to him in regards to captaincy.

You blokes now into $9 third favourites for the premiership next year. A flood of money has come after the Madge appointment. Expect your odds to shorten even further should Hunt be signed up.

Might have to drop a few grand on youse meself before the price shortens even further 😙 Just don't tell me Rabbitohs family and forum members down here I've jumped onboard :nailbiter:

They were doing good until the NRL changed the rules mid season is my recollection .
Would’ve been interesting to see what would’ve happened in 2020 if COVID didn’t disrupt the season. We obviously handled it the worst out of all the clubs.

I doubt it’s a flood of money, it is in all likelihood the bookies adjusting things on the weight of probability that things will be different for us next year given the obvious coaching change.

I doubt punters load up their TAB app and decide to unload into the NRL Futures market in the pre-season, you’d at the very least want to see a game or two, we could be even worse, who is to say?

I worked for a bookie, normally it is weight of money, especially those early markets. In saying that it wouldn't take much these days.
