2025 Pre-season discussion. Training the house down.

I'm sure there is plenty that isn't put out for the public, wouldn't be smart to show what shapes ect you run for the 16 other clubs to scrutinise this early
Not talking about them showing the tactics, etc. just the players talking about changes from previous preseasons...like "theres been a definite increased emphasis on wrestling", "fitness has been torture compared to previous years", "weve barely touched a ball because it's all been about defence", etc.

Doesn't seem like there's been much talk about how this preseason has been different to previous preseasons.

TBH I very much don't care what they say to the media at all. As long as they are good this year without falling off at the end of the season. I don't care who is in the team as long as they are winning. To go from 2023 to that rubbish last year was embarrassing but I think they will turn it around this year.

The Broncos have copped a blow with Kangaroos star Payne Haas in doubt for the start of the NRL season after undergoing surgery.
Haas went under the knife on Friday after sustaining an ankle injury at training last week.

He is expected to be sidelined for about a month, but Broncos medical staff will not receive an accurate prognosis until he is assessed post-surgery.

The Broncos begin their 2025 NRL campaign against the Roosters in six weeks.

Broncos coach Michael Maguire confirmed his superstar prop had been injured.

“He has had a little clean-out on his ankle,” he said.

“It won’t be a long recovery. The doctors and physios felt it was the right thing to do with the timing.

“Payne looks after himself so well. We thought we’d get him in for surgery and get him right for round one.”

The ankle injury is the latest setback for Haas, who had a torrid 2024 season.
