Mozer to Coburn has to happen- Wynnum won't hold.

I thought he was one of the young guys coming through when Big Pete was talking about young guys in the trials.

Liked the look of him in the trials

He's 24 and played Cup since 2021. BRL last year.

Not to be harsh on a young bloke but Souths look much improved minus Black.

What about Leota and his errors missing 🤔🤔

That might be helping the holding onto the ball but as far as organised and attack they look better this week.

Black has dropped more than a ball a game this year too.

Floyd lacks a kicking game but he has definetely taken the game on more. The kid just doesn't play footy, he just follows the ball around and dishes it off to someone else. Wynnum have been dreadful I don't think we can really put it down to Black not being there but definetly a sign that Black needs to add a dimension or two to his game beyond distribute and kick.

Ok don't worry Souths are the same.

Wynnum 11-8 after being down 8-0.

Classic Souths.

Field goal by Sutton was smart.

Sutton from the Knights, just joined Wynnum.
Well his kicking game definitely looks to be his strong suit.

I swear the first two kicks were left footed though... maybe I'm seeing things

Good run by Hunt, that's his run but I am not sure at Wynnum or Broncos he is going to get it too often.

So Leota dropped from reserve grade must put his NRL prospects at risk of going down the drain?

That's inexcusable for Cobbo to take the kick off and throw a pass in the in goal is bad but a pass to no one is painful.

He should be running back.

He looks done doesn't he.

Good running by Hunt, Wynnum got him on Milford twice and just flogged him. Hunt would be the form Bronco in this game.

Sutton did a great job putting him there.

Just not sure he can get that type of ball too often from the Broncos.

It's good to hear Hunt is having a real go and showing himself. He's time in the NRL will definitely come sooner rather than later.

Mozer went down again rolling around seemingly seething in pain. Is that just how he reacts when he gets a painful knock or was it his shoulder playing up on him again? Commentators were saying it was his wrist but I don't know. Maybe I am too sentimental but I just hate seeing the kid put himself through it, just to play for the Magpies all year.

The SP PNG Hunters are pleased to officially announce the return of Judah Rimbu to the club for the remainder of the 2025 Hostplus Cup season.
Rimbu, who last year was honoured with the 2024 QRL Petero Civoniceva Medal, recognising him as the competition’s best and fairest returns to Papua New Guinea following a short stint with English Super League club Castleford Tigers. The Tigers released Rimbu as part of a mid-season restructuring of their playing roster.
Head Coach Paul Aiton welcomed his return: “I am happy to have Judah back for the rest of the season. He’s a quality player, he brings energy to the club and the boys love to have him around. This is his home, we’re like family, and his presence will definitely make an impact on the squad.”
