Why is Koina at the Falcons and not with one of our feeders like the others?

Take that back, forgot he went to the Eels a few weeks ago.

He's still at school, played for the Falcons lives at the Coast, clubs never uproot you like that. He played Cyril and Meninga for Falcons.

Storm keeps Watson at the Bears. You want them at home for as long as possible.

Fair enough. Let's see many of them actually end up staying with us anyway.

They're probably like 16/17.

We usually move them to a feeder when they finish Meninga.

Coates was playing with Tweed until he was like 18

Looks like the NRLQ will continue next year.

Brisbane Broncos finished 2nd on F/A with a 3-3 record. We never got to see Game 1, but from all reports it was lousy. Interesting to note that the Broncos had an injury toll of twelve players through out the season. That's one thing that makes following the lower grades difficult, clubs are either at the mercy of the higher grades or they're struggling with injuries of their own. You rarely get to see the best U/21s face off against the other U/21s.

With that said, Dolphins were clearly head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. That's the model the Broncos are going to have to get back to if they want to be consistent moving forward.

I'm assuming they will just keep it running until NRL set up Toyota Cup 2.0... and that's probably 2027 with the next TV deal??

The current deal expires in 2027, unless they negotiate early it wouldn't be until 2028.

By that point the Perth Bears will be a year old and the PNG Hunters will be on board.

If it does return, I can't see it being a 24 round competition where every game mirrors up to it's NRL counter-part. I think it will be similar to the NRLW.

Bai Cup career.

6 games
5 tries
20 tackle breaks
152 tackles
9 missed
av 154m pg

First game starting on Sunday played 80 minutes, one try, 149m, 39 tackles. Loved that try, just I am big and strong give it to me no deception needed.

Bad miss on Jacks but he knew, you could see him giving himself a spray.

23 Meninga games 23-25 and three NRLQ games at 19 I can't think of another forward that's taken to Cup so well so quickly.

Carter Gordon back playing 6 for Jets. @Big Pete

It’s like the Titans have the keys to the castle.

I’d love to see a Campbell, Kini, Gordon, Stephenson, Weaver, Bai line up

I was happy to see him named as 18th man on Tuesday. That's an ideal return game against the Clydesdales, I wouldn't get too far ahead of myself but if his body is up to it, a couple of QCup finals games would put him in good stead heading into 2026.

I was disappointed that Des didn't recognise Bai's performance on Sunday. Tweed have the bye this weekend and even if you didn't want to take him down to Cronulla it's a good opportunity to recognise a young player and see how it affects them. It's not like it would be a distraction, Tweed have the bye this weekend so I don't see the risk in making that gesture.

The Titans final three games are all in SE Queensland. With little to play for, you may as well give Bai and Stephenson an opportunity. Bai for me is already playing well enough to make their best seventeen. I'm not sure why Stephenson missed the Tigers game but he's playing well enough to get a shot and he's been playing well for years now.

Bukowski gets to start for only the 6th time and Wynnum were awful he had massive issues with his hands for some reason. From 10-6 up just after HT to lose 24-14 isn't finals football.

Symonds was good from the Capras. He's just on the cusp of getting Cup. 12 games now and had an impact last night.

"Oh boy, after a promising stint in NRLQ I can't wait to see Sefo make the step up!"

You're busting my balls, Hunt!

No other club links forwards like Souths- it's their best play- 10, 8, 13 to Milford to score.

Souths drop the kick off, PNG score.

Something brilliant then something dumb it's the Souths way.

Hunters 4 v 3 from the scrum and score- how does that happen? Not a single Magpie communicated and said 4 v 3 this side?

Hunters 16 Souths 6.
