Not the half I thought it would be, Bears tested Dolphins middle once and scored untouched like I said Geyer would. Can't imagine Burt would be too happy.

Three penalties and a try against in the first 10 minutes I am hoping is just slow start after the week off.

Only an 8 point difference right now, but Bears are lucky to still be in it really. I doubt they score without that sin bin.

Burleigh with an early penalty just work through their routine. On play four, Rogers goes short to Christensen down the short-side, Christensen bamboozles them with some foot work and it appears Johnson has made a hip drop tackle.

It's cleared by the bunker and the Bears just receive the penalty for a dangerous tackle.

Then Mapapalangi spills it early.

Dolphins work their way down field, Toia can't clean up the grubber Watson is there to save the day.

Bad signs for Burleigh.

Johnson very lucky from what I saw.

That was a golden opportunity there for the Dolphins. Plath just got greedy, which led to a pretty average pass from Bailey and the Phins were able to swarm Lui.

Toia fails to clean up at the back and Phins get another opportunity.

Oloapu into the game and is looking strong early.

Considering the players missing the Phins are doing pretty well against the best side in the comp

Dolphins unlucky not to extend there. Opacic loses it into Watson, the Dolphins kicking game is causing the Bears all sorts.

Lucky penalty there to Leo, it appeared to be a loose carry.

Dolphins are reading the Bears attack easily. They try an offload but the Phins swarm Geyer before he can do anything with it. They try a percentage play by playing short to Christensen but the Phins defence reads it easily.

Still plenty of time for Burleigh but they need to come up with something better than a crash play for Christensen.
