Norths looked very loose around the ruck, but they were able to deny the Seagulls on several occassions. Jarvis' pass on the last was well offline, but Sutton did well to steady himself and give Philitoga an aerial contest.

The video referee finds a knock on and Norths survive.

Gee Tuilekutu did well to stay in the field of play for Wynnum.

Unfortunately Madden digs too close into the line and attempts a cut-out which is an easy intercept for the Devils. Seagulls give away another penalty and they just cannot control this game.

Devils meanwhile happy to surrender possession right on the Seagulls try line.
 
Good try. Sutton with nice fast hands and the wingers finishes off well. He's looked good the winger.
 
Wynnum starting to drop off here in the final 10. Norths find space down their right but Gagan's pass goes forward.

Seagulls need something here, they're looking good off of Grant and Coric.

They start going down their right, Frei does well to hold onto Sutton's pass to make half a break. They go there again and the halves combine to put Philitoga over! Great hands from Sutton and strong finish from Philitoga.

16-14, we're in for another nail biter!
 
Strong try against the play... thought the short ball for the backrower went unrewarded ... looked a flop late slowing down the ptb after the run won the ruck.

Good work to finish it off down a very narrow short side
 
Great set after points and Seagulls pins the Devils down their corner.

Seagulls doing everything right so far but then Tuilekutu spills Ahearn's kick, now Wynnum are struggling to work it outside of their own half.

Norths with a big opportunity with 3 to go.
 
Short yardage set and they go to Madden... had to go to Sutton's boot to try and pump it as long as possible
 
Devils keep the ball alive, O'Sullivan lets it rip and Kaho flies over and scores in the corner!
 
Cobbo caught way out of position on that one... devils centre was in untouched if he didn't pass it, but they've probably scored anyway
 
Wow they were entitled to hold Ahearn down much longer than that
 
Great work from Gagan- that's why he's won three comps- calm. I thought Madden was really standing up that last five minutes, but Norths just calmly get down there and do their thing.
