Look I am usually pretty generous with my openness to change. I usually get excited about some cooked new jersey update or whatever. I even was pretty open to this design. That being said, I know this is just a quick amateur mock up but it objectively doesn’t look good here.
I’m not fully opposed to the new logo, I just hope they’ve tweaked it a bit because it ain’t great

Minimalist logo designs are all the rage now. Probably because they're cheaper.

The universe gets thrown off its axis when BHQ isn't in the sky is falling mode.
Since we haven't been in that mode for months, the club felt they needed to rectify the situation

We're all entitled to our opinions on it, for sure. We've been on the never ending carousel of that since it was leaked. Back in previous discussions I mentioned that I was ready for a change because our current logo had recent 'trauma' associated with it. Obviously that has changed after our finals series, and there is now some more emotional investment into this logo.
I disagree that it's "obviously garbage", because that would suggest that there is no other opinion possible. Some people like it. Ironically, it's seemingly mostly non-Broncos fans that like it, which to me suggests that it's a decent bit of work, because those usual gimps would sink the boot at any opportunity.
All I see from detractors is; "it's shit", "I HaTe iT" etc etc. What makes it "obviously garbage" to you? 25 years ago this was all said about our current design. So I'm keen to hear from those that hate it why, what is it about the logo that you hate? Is it just an attachment thing, or do you hate change?
My theory is that because the supporters on this forum have put so much emotional investment into this club they can't deal with the change. I'm just not really understanding the full blown meltdowns about it, we're the same club, the same DNA and the current premiers so it's going to be all g
