• Chris Orr suspended for six months and fined $10,000. Orr’s stable includes the likes of Brown, Mitch Barnett, Ryan Matterson, and Jason Taumalolo. The NRL said Orr breached the code of conduct “following a physical altercation with agent Nash Dawson following the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships in 2024. It was also alleged Orr failed to co-operate with the NRL Integrity Unit.”
• Nash Dawson suspended for nine months and fined $15,000. Dawson looks after the likes of Walsh, Xavier Coates, Isaiah Iongi, Rob Toia and Ezra Mam. The NRL said Dawson was banned “following a physical altercation with agent Chris Orr following the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships in 2024. It was also alleged Dawson failed to co-operate with the NRL Integrity Unit.”
• Mario Tartak suspended for 12 months and fined $25,000. Tartak’s stable includes Damien Cook, Haumole Olakau’atu, Josh Addo-Carr and Tallyn Da Silva. The NRL said Tartak “communicated with an underage player without a parent and/or legal guardian being present. It was also alleged that Tartak entered into a commercial arrangement with two NRL Clubs, in breach of the NRL Accredited Agent Scheme Rules.”
• Matt Desira suspended for 6 months and fined $10,000. Desira looks after Jayden Campbell, Greg Marzhew and Bronson Xerri. He is also Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall’s agent. The NRL said his ban was because of “non-reporting and dishonesty following police charges and court proceedings which were brought against Desira.”
