2026 NRL General Discussion Thread

Braidon Burns is going to challenge the grading of the head high.

Cleary 2.0 coming up.

He doesn't play for the Bulldogs any more. He'll have the charge upheld and the judiciary will mumble something incoherent about Cleary and it being different and everyone in NSW will just move on immediately.

The head knock he got last year put him out for a long stint .
I don`t think he is the same player now .

Yeah time will tell for him but the fact he also went to water in the GF on top of the head knocks, not sure they are really all that worried.

That said, the same reports are suggesting Coates will be PNG's first or one of the first signings.

Gos got a decent head knock early in the game. I thought for sure he'd be HIAd but they left him on.
I'm happy to see how he goes this week before torching him.

Nobody is asking you to torch him. The sun will do that for us.

Yeah he was in Disney Land .
I thought he should have been replaced . But Madge apparently didn`t trust Aubs to do the job .

I like that Brandy was aware enough to see all the set restarts and penalties Melbourne and Souths got to maintain momentum but must not have noticed it in the Panthers vs Broncos game, where we conceded the most penalties and received the least of the whole round.

It's not the reason we lost, we were terrible, but Penrith got just as many of the 'set restarts to keep momentum' as the teams he mentioned did as well.

We were the most penalised team in 2025. We seem to be continuing that trend...

Hella farkin loolya.............................somebody is finally talking about this set restart stupidity.

But.......FMD..............just madness.........in what universe does it make sense to keep changing other rules (scorer kicks off) to accommodate the clearly stupid set restart bulllcrap rule.

STOP......CHANGING....THE....RULES.....OF......OUR.....GAME......YOU.....STUPID......PRICKS!!!!
