Those other teams aren’t coached by Madge and if you give such a high pass mark it makes it much easier to spin their narratives against him, I’m surprised they didn’t say the pass mark was another premiership.
I don’t think anyone can comprehend exactly how much the media as a whole hate him.
They would love him again if he coached a sydney team.

Now to last year’s premiers and I expect the Broncos to drop down the ladder on the back of Payne Haas’ bombshell decision.
The fact is if you don’t finish in the top four you don’t win the comp.
Before Haas signed with Souths, I had the Broncos in my top four and I gave them a huge chance of going back-to-back.
But despite the denials there is no issue between Haas and Michael Maguire, Haas wouldn’t be leaving for the same money if he was truly happy.
Watching this unfold as the season progresses will be one of the major storylines of the year.

I see Crawler has the Bunnies just under us. I'm shocked he hasn't had them as minor premiers as daddy Wayne's genius shines through.
Doesn't want to pressure them in case they don't deliver. Just inside the 8 is the calculated approach.
I don't expect Melbourne to slide much despite their losses. They have good systems.
Broncos will have to slide unless they win again. That is a fact of being premiers.
We may experience a bit of a hangover from winning. That's usually normal bar Penrith of recent years. I think we will be there abouts come the semis and we did okay with that last year.
Who knows with injuries, origin etc. I am sure if you review his predications year on year they are probably not that accurate. Any correct guess is probably lucky.
I think our depth looks better this year if anything. I think we are setting the squad up well for the future. Getting Haas sorted before the season is a good thing too. It will only be the articles that will continue all year, not the drama.
