Breaking news: Senior players refused to attend army camp, playing group fractured.

Maguire's denials only fuel the flames of the totally not made up rumours we made.

It's so easy for the media. When they club chose to not say anything it's all "The silence is deafening, if there are no issues come out and tell us". Now when they are given the facts of what happened it's "The denials tell us everything we need to know, if there are no issues there is nothing to address".

I listened to the League coverage on Triple M on the weekend. My mistake of course. I listened to it well aware of what people had been saying (mostly about Fox Sports etc) the pile-on about Madge, and I was hoping that it was just our fans being a bit precious and taking everything personally.

But FMD, I couldn't believe it. Of course they honed in on the Madge vs Haas situation. I can't remember which of the 4 panel members it was, but they just would not ****ing stop. "There has to be more to it, there just has to be, it's too messy!". Hindy was for once the voice of reason, "It all makes sense to me, it seems clean to me" etc. "Why didn't the club and Haas come out with a press first before the media broke it???". No one pulled him up on (a) it was leaked by the Rabbitohs camp, unofficially, to a journo, and (b) clubs are not allowed to announce anything before the 10 day cooling off period, and (c) they were a day away from going overseas for the WCC. "Well a club like that, with the biggest player in the game, just has to make it happen. It's too messy. There has to be more to it".

Literally half an hour just of this. Back and forth on why there has to be more to it. Not half an hour of the Broncos, half an hour just on why the Madge Haas situation is a big issue.
