One thing is abundantly clear, with Haas not in the team Willison absolutely can not be wasted in the second row.

Not sure where we are going to find one but Madge needs to conjure up a decent second row depth option or 2 before next season

Mariner in very serious trouble with that leg injury. In hospital. Could be season, could be worse
 
So Josh Schuster is looking for a club this year.
It's a risk for sure but he's down to 97kg training on his own.
25 years old, talented, a backrower and Manly have to still pay 500k of his salary.
Might be a shout for the rest of this year with options in the clubs favour.??

That's a tough one. Some guys really turn it around once they've been kicked to the curb. He's bloody talented, but so are a lot of guys who get lazy and fall off...

I dont think he's worth the risk.

He's more like a 5/8 in a backrower's body.

He's not the type to be running a hard line outside the half or being aggressive in defence, etc.

He's probably more like a lock, but who would know if he can handle the defensive workload... also ball playing locks are the link man in the middle... he's more of an x factor 6, so he's a risk of going off script and looking for hero plays when the link man is just meant to get it out to the backline or hit a forward if the defence over commits

Yep I agree. But we are short on backrowers and it will cost nothing.
Options in our favour and he puts himself in the shop window for a longer term deal with Perth or PNG etc.

Sure there is risk but that's Madges job.
He seems like hes matured a fair bit.
Anyway I'm 5 drinks deep sitting under a cabana on Ko Chang so it seems like a great idea.🧉

If only as a squad player for times just like this . His problems are between his ears not his body .
