POST GAME 2026 State of Origin

Only thing I can imagine with Walsh why he wasnt picked is his defensive side of the game. He was great for most of last year. This year not so much.

The Capewell try yesterday was head scratching. He just ran into the line for no reason when they had numbers and it was a simple kick through the line.

Thought QLD team selections were ordinary then saw NSW..

Their pack could be so much better than what was picked. Then no Edwards at all. Loz is one of a kind. Apart from head highs and torpedo tackles, what's the allure of Radley this year? AFB was a big 'yeah he can play now', but he's not been better than May or Ford for example.

Anyways, who cares lol.
 
Who are the unlucky ones for NSW? Edwards fair enough but who else?

Don't forget with the rate of attrition this year, there are a LOT of players out injured.

I would say he’s picked almost the best team possible this year, meanwhile Slaters attempt to be smarter than everyone else should finally bite him on the ass. He’s been very lucky the last few seasons that Laurie Daley has hindered himself through shit selections and not being a very good coach too.

Yeah I dont find that NSW team all that formidable.

Moses hasnt been in great form... he's taking a back-seat to whoever puts the 6 on at parra.

AFB hasnt been that great for sharks

Saifiti is probably the best prop that's been named?

Crichton looks like he's carrying an injury. Staggs can be erratic... thought he'd make the bench, but not starting

Koula has never played wing before

Robson has been good this year, but Cleary is used to a tackle bot hooker who just gives him the ball off the deck

NSW bench looks pretty small apart from Saifiti

Agree with you on Haumole... he needs someone to give him good ball to be effective... qld could keep him out of the contest if they defend him well.

All they need to do is put Young or Ola (cba thinking about who is on what side) on Swalker. If they manage to create a few 1 on 1s they’ll be scoring guaranteed tries through him

For sure i dont know why walsh wasnt selected and why Finefuiaki is on the reserve grade
 
Ezra keeps finding a way into these origin camps though for someone who is apparently terrible at rugby league. Pretty odd. Maybe QLD is just down real bad too.
