POST GAME 2026 State of Origin

I could select a still that shows what i wanted it to. Its a contact sport, so inevitably, there will be contact and depending on the angle and the timing of the picture, its not difficult to make something look good or bad.

Its also not as black and white imo either when Walker is pulling him down. It all happens so quickly these days that if Ponga gets to him a fraction quicker, then its a totally different situation. I still think its a bin and not a send off. So many variables for and against a sending off though.

I think its becoming pretty obvious the bunker didnt agree with him, and even though they would have had a better view than him ( he was a long way from the play with players and also Ponga blocking a clear view ) he couldnt accept somebody else knowing better.
I was referring to the "most people" not thinking it was a send off

It`s a technical flaw in his tackling technique .
He hit him with his left shoulder and clashed heads . If he had used his right shoulder and put his head out of the way he would not need to tuck his arm and shoulder charge to protect his ribs .
That`s what was getting him knocked out when he was playing #6 , head on the wrong side . Similar to what Reece did when he broke his cheek .

Games’ best analyst.

Interesting point made in the comments too. He actually drops the ball before ponga touches him…..what is the actual rule there?
I presume it doesnt matter. They still rule on the head contact. Its ruled as foul play. Doesnt matter if he was losing the ball. They give penalties off the ball for guys getting taken out. Same shit.

My 80 year old mum watched from hospital last night. She fell asleep before the end, but she's blowing up my messages this morning about Klein. 😂
Sounds like the nurses might have sedated her at some point.

Did anyone else think Munster was a bit of a handbrake in attack, particularly as he got tired. He’d just run like a headless chook. Dearden and Walker have to be the long term halves.
Tried to do too much I thought. Ruined any kind of structure we were trying to have.

Some of these are deadset embarassing.

To'o the same as Cobbo?
Walker 7.5 vs Cleary 8.5?
Plath 6...
Radley a ****ing 7.5?
Haumole a 7?

Dreadful. If you found out this person/people didn't even watch the game you wouldn't be surprised.

I thought Ivan argued.

'You should not be fussed if the victim was not concussed.'

And the judiciary bought it hook, line and sinker.

Did Ivan actually make a comparison to Walsh?
