“They are struggling to rectify and they do say they have a contingency.”
Despite Telstra reporting its issues had been resolved by 4pm, the NRL was unable to solve its problems and reverted to a back-up solution for Origin.
Chris Butler was stood down from his duties in Sydney with Gerard Sutton and Jared Maxwell stepping in as the video officials working out of a television truck outside the ground in Brisbane.

The country’s population increases every year too. What else is there to watch on a Wednesday night? Blue heelers finished ages ago. It’s not like there are many options. The game is in shambles these days. Completely different sport to the one I grew up on.

Wrong, he masterfully conserved his energy for the first 60 minutes of Game I so that he could dominate the last 20, and then again conserved his energy through 80 minutes of Game II so he could show up for roughly 20 minutes of Game III.
Immortal behaviour right there.
