The Telstra outage has been felt at the worst possible moment for the NRL with the Bunker taken out of action for the State of Origin decider on Wednesday night.

The video review system is based out of the league’s Sydney headquarters.

But officials were left scrambling before kick-off at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane after the Telstra problems disrupted connections from Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

“At this stage the Bunker would not be in use,” John Gibbs reported on the ABC.

“They are struggling to rectify and they do say they have a contingency.”

Despite Telstra reporting its issues had been resolved by 4pm, the NRL was unable to solve its problems and reverted to a back-up solution for Origin.

Chris Butler was stood down from his duties in Sydney with Gerard Sutton and Jared Maxwell stepping in as the video officials working out of a television truck outside the ground in Brisbane.

What’s your Chinese order look like bp?

Mine is fried rice, sweet and sour pork or honey/lemon chicken( I like one deep fried one in batter), cashew and vegetable chicken, and Mongolian beef or lamb. Plus entree of either dim sims or spring rolls. Also a bag of prawn crackers.

Awarded a try, the shoe was on the other foot to conclusively rule it was a knock on. I never saw it. Happy to be proven wrong.

We were terrible, backrow was terrible, Cotter was off it, Cobbo had a mare, and Loiero was his usual shit, so Billy had a mare too really not even using Carrigan. Bench rotation again a huge problem.

Disappointing thats how they rocked up for a decider.

Klein/Bunker... its just expected now. Its not even the shit that was given, its the shit thats not. Thought Grant did enough to get a set restart a few times on not square markers, got nothing and then I saw Tino get done at least once for the same thing but he looked more square. Who even knows anymore.

Eh, they are probably expanding because the rusted on fans are getting the shits with it. Ratings are probably going to go up once Perth and png join. Doesn’t mean the sport is getting better…… it was so much better than the stupid 6 again rule.

That said, we were really shit.

Was an awful call but NSW were clearly better we made too many errors one try off a rebound other one ran past Murray playing in centres. NSW bombed few also first half, so even was bad call since we played that bad we didn't deserve the win
