POST GAME 2026 State of Origin

Broncos had more of chance to win the Grand final again then...
Golden boy winning the game/series for NSW....

Next immortal.......

I think GF now stands for
get ****ed!!

Not Alfie or Lockyer...

Maybe I need the tin foil hat......

Oh well...
NRL have lost a viewer who watched every game.

Enjoy the bandwagon fans.

How is AFL,?
There are good games and bad games in afl tbh. When you just keep getting ball up after ball up and out 5 times in a row every few minutes it’s ****ing shit. When both teams are playing like well oiled machines it’s ****ing brilliant. We should copy them and turn the clock off every time there is any sort of stoppage tbh, look at Cleary wasting time tonight with that kick at goal ffs. It’s a religion down in Victoria afl is. They sell out the mcg a few times at least a year to round games, not even finals. I’m talking 90-100k ppl for a round 3 match or something.

I really wanna see this corner post cam.

"Yes the corner post cam shows no touch from Bostock".

Wait til we find out it showed no touch because all it can see is their feet.
Look it's not great that the best camera in the sport is tucked into the corner post and pointing in one static direction that is never used, but this is all I've got at the moment ok

We never got that angle on ch9. Thx mate.
I remember them showing the front on and could still see a finger move... Reddit just hasn't chucked that one up... or maybe they have and I can't be ****ed going to find it.

This one was the first one, so I chucked it on here... and you can still see the finger move.

The bunker showed the finger moving in the live stream... commentators saw it and were like "but did it go forwards"... for the next angle to show it going 5m forward for Best to pick it up.

That was when all the NSW comms were resigned to having the try taken off them.

Then Klown called play on and Joey started talking it up like it was some amazing set play.

Cam Smith was basically speachless for like 5mins after it, because it was so blatant to everyone.

Then Fitler chimes in from the sideline that there was some magical camera in the corner post that proves everything was actually correct... which it clearly wasn't ... from several camera angles now

I don’t understand why the camera shots in slo-mo are so shit anyway. Look at the brilliant shots in slow motion they come up with in cricket…….anyone ever watched the YouTube channel slo mo guys?

Don’t see why we can’t use this kind of technology. They do in the cricket y’know.

And, while it's soft - there was another players hands on cobbo when cleary stripped him. I'm sick of the apologists justifying the cheats because (x) team didn't play as well. Not playing well does not justify or make shitty calls ok. ****ing pathetic. You can't tell me all that bullshit doesn't change in some way, shape or form how the game plays out.

Sam Walker was horrendous and the win in the second game papered over bad he has been, particularly his kicking game and decision making. He cannot be trusted to kick at all from long range, especially if we are on the back foot at all, almost always kicks it directly back to the opposing teams player on the full. Dearden needs to be back in this team next year.

@tommy Reddit has chucked a video up of the Bostock call.

It's not even slow mo ... and I don't recall this shot being shown in the feed, but can clearly see his middle finger move as the ball goes past

Classic comment in that Reddit:
"It's hard to believe but the Bunker has just literally got a ****ton worse. This call, the Jenkins no double movement call. What's the point of the players busting their arses when the gumbies in the bunker can't see what's in front of their eyes."
I was waiting for the WC VAR shot of Plath with one foot in front of Walker. Like it doesn't happen on 50% of kicks every week!
I'm just as pissed on the 4th tackle phantom 6 agains in the first half; Murray directly knocking the ball out but it was a tackling motion (like the 50 examples of that this season that have all been called knock on); and Harry getting one of 4, when he milked the markers offside or not square (it's shit-play but he got them).
But seriously, what was the deal with our ball-handling. That was Broncos in R1/R2 level, and that is what allowed NSW the field position they capitalised on.

It was super clear the fix was in, on that 4th tackle teddy six again, very next ball they score instead of shaping up for a kick.

Teddy barely hit the grass and the 6 again call was made. No line break, regulation tackle, not offside. Six again.... HOW. You don't have to instantly let go of a player the second you hit the ground. Klein things....

The Plath one was interesting too. He "gets involved" in what, the players watching the ball bounce when he was still 10m away from the closest blues defender? Are they ruling him being near the ball carrier is "getting involved"? He didn't influence the outcome at all.

That said, we didn't play like we did in the first two games. Atrocious handling. Capewell was diabolical with the ball and in defense.

Not picking Walsh in the run on squad was a major screw up too - every time he got the ball he troubled them. Ponga didn't really look threatening at all this series and literally cost us the first game.

Ummmm…..Plath was like 2m from the ball in his involvent. Right call all day imo.

The only call I am disappointed in is the non 10 in the bin/ send off for the shoulder charge to ponga’s head.

What’s good for the goose should be good for the gander.

He is at the end. When old mate pulls out of the catch (literally his only influence in the play) he's back 10m.

And these get let go all the time... so rare to see an offside call these days unless they tackle or take possession.

Apparently everyone isn't blind. NRL have admitted ball was touched, just the bunker whose job it is to look at this couldn't see it. Same guy who didn't see a double movement in the Jenkins try.
