Disagree, I think stripping Reyno could’ve caused unnecessary tension and weirdness within the group.
He’ll probably move on after this year anyway.

Eh, I don’t know. With Mam out there’s still an argument to be made that Billy is a realistic chance of being in the 17.

Realistic? Doubtful but possible.
Alot of people having a little fantasy that he will be our starting 9.
Not gonna happen.
Best Billy can hope for is that his father lands another head coach gig.

Outside of injuries I don’t think he’ll be our starting 9 for long, and he wouldn’t be my pick out of him, Paix, and Smoothey but i don’t think there’s much in it.

Yep, trialling the Tits in Toowoomba in mid-Feb and I think from memory the Doggies at Redcliffe in late Feb.
Also have a trial against the Burleigh Bears, beforehand. Must be next weekend I guess.

Not bad from the little nugget.
Should surpass El Masri by the end of the season, which is quite impressive given Hazem was a winger.
Also played quite well last night, too. I think he's flying under the radar a bit more now, with Hunt in the team to take the pressure off.

He's still such a good player.
It will be a nervy time when he decides to hang up the boots, because they just don't make halves like him anymore.
His kicking game is fucking elite... that messed up 5th tackle in the first half where Paix ran on last panicked and then it got dumped back to him, and he puts in a 40m grubber from a 5m blindside... who else in the league is able to pull off that kick.
And even beyond his kicking game, he's a great defender given his size, but he's also just great with ball in hand and asking questions of the defence.
His try last night was beautiful... just completely bamboozled the defence, to go over untouched in the middle of the field and inside the 5m is just elite ballplaying... but he was also the one that put Shiba in that massive hole to create the linebreak.
He is still looking elite, so at this point I would love to see him go around again next year, but the concern would be the salary cap, because I don't think the club is thinking he will want to go around again so where do you find $600k for him... and even then he should be getting paid way more money than that with how he's playing and how the halves market looks.
