I am a fan of the ISC, I watch it when it's televised and even went to last years grand final, however I am also a fan of having that one reserve side like the NSW clubs have eg. Canberra has the Mounties, dragons have the cutters while the Bulldogs, Knights and panthers carry the same name as the NRL sides.
It was a debate that came up last year that there is a possibility in the future that every team would have one feeder club and they versed each other just like the NRL and the NYC sides.
my question is what is the better option? Below are a few pros for each side
BRONCOS RESERVE SIDE
1. Players get to play together helping combinations
2. U20's can make the step up into a familiar set up and play with other first grade hopefuls
3. Die hard fans get to follow three teams wearing broncos colours
AFFILIATED SIDES
1. Helps strengthen smaller Q cup sides for the good of Rugby League
2. Helps us get the best of the up and comers like Jonas Pearson who came from the Capras and now plays for our u20's
3. Gives our players a different insight compared to a one sided approach (especially those who go to the Jets)
