Easy win for The Broncos. If Perry ca nimprove his 5th tackle options I can't see why we won't smash the Tigers.

And which game in the last 3 years has he shown any signs of that? How about the chip/bomb/god knows what he put up on the SECOND tackle on Sunday? [icon_non

I said if he can imrove his 5th tackle options!! Alternatively we could just give the ball to Hunt and let him weave some magic.

Here's the Tigers team:

1 Brett Hodgson ©
2 Taniela Tuiaki
3 Dean Collis
4 Chris Lawrence
5 Shannon McDonnell
6 Benji Marshall
7 Mathew Head
8 Ryan Tandy
9 Robbie Farah
10 Bronson Harrison
11 Ben Te’o
12 Chris Heighington
13 Dene Halatau

14 John Morris
15 Liam Fulton
16 Luke Harlen
17 Tevita Metuisela

Their pack looks crap. We should (hopefully) be able to snap 'em in the forwards.

The tigers have had some terrible luck with injuries to their forwards this year. Here's hoping the broncos can take full advantage of it.

If we persist with Stagg and Perry in halves, it doesn't matter what our forwards do to them- we wont have any points in us.

Is Hoffman injured?? He better be, because being left out after a stunning debut is just down right unfair. What's the point of proving your worth if you don't get rewarded.

I'm with ethos - Emmett must be on the extended bench for a reason so I'm thinking someone's moving out of the halves to make way for Moon or Hunt, bringing Emmett in. Here's hoping anyway.

Well if our forwards get on top, Ennis should be able to weave his magic out of dummy half. If we can just support him up the middle we should have more points in us than we did against Canberra.

But I agree though, be soo much more dangerous with a different halves combo.

Exactly. The Raiders pack isn't exactly loaded with superstars and look what happened on Sunday

I'm think that Moon will play 5/8 even though he was named in the centers (like he did last week)

Agreed.

We may completely dominate them upfront yet our dominance may not be reflected on the scoreboard. Even with their prefered forwards missing, the Tigers have never really enjoyed a big pack on par with the likes of Brisbane, Canterbury and Sydney anyway, even in '05. They'll be going wide often and will also try and beat us with speed around the ruck, as usual. An area that we are particularly shyte in.

Needless to say a huge lift in attitude is required after last weeks disgrace. Having key players missing, though it has a big impact on team dynamics, was still no excuse for some of the unbelievably poor passages of play from us.

If we get away with this one I don't feel it'll be by much.

The Tiges have chosen a couple of props from the lower grades, apparently they are pretty good. Watch out.

Hmmm i have a game plan... Since we have a big dominant forward pack that will get us up the field, instead of doing stupid kicks why not just take as many field goals as possible :D lol like my gameplan :P
Nah i think we will have a better chance of scoring with Ennis back and hopefully Moon in 5/8 and maybe Hunt in 7.

Ugghh, I got a feeling that Marshall will rip us apart up the middle of the ruck.

Their quicker forwards will rush up on the edges and will shut down everything our so-called halves will try to do.

If the weather is fine, I think I might just have to launch my boat Friday night, and take the wireless with me to listen to the game.

just watched the 2nd half against raiders and i thought perry played great and the rest of the team let him down, he had no one running off him but he looked pretty dangerous whenever he had the ball...moon didnt seem to know if he was at 6 or at 4 most of the time and because of that his positional play for kicks was all over the place which resulted in poor vision and poor kicks.... boyd and kemp have got to be on the left they were the hole in the proverbial ship on sunday, i dont understand why you would break up a combination that has worked really well in defence and attack all season becasue one winger comes into the side...... stagg at 3, manihera at 2 with boyd 4 and kemp 5 and moon at 6.........Taylor had his best game by far and was close to his form of late last year and Hunt was obviously tired but played great........ 3 Hunt 2 Perry 1Taylor

No, but he did miss 6 tackles and made 4 ineffective ones against Canberra's U/18s though....

im actually worried about losing this game. we just got away with the win in Sydney. We're all saying their forwards are crap, but they still always find a way to tire the other team out and get most of their metres off dummy hlaf runs.

If they do that to us our forwards arent good at getting back in time or being the 1st up off the ground for marker.

We will have to dominate early and scare them a bit to run through the middle.

IMO, I think that is 1 of 3 key issues to winning this difficult game, and support not just Ennis, but whoever plays in the halves. Support and offloads...

The other is defend with passion, sting and 80 minute consistency.

The third is for Hunt to really inject himself into the attack.

If that happens - a close game with the Broncos winning.

If not, well, I'm closer to my $100 from Hammo.

FMD. Their pack is indeed shite, but those 7 players above will tear us to shreds if we defend like we did last weekend. Could get ugly.

I gotta say it was the best half of football I'd seen from Perry in a long, long time. He didn't have any players running off him, cos they don't have any faith in him as a half to get them the ball it seems.

I am worried the tiges are going to rip us to shreds too. Don't underestimate their pack either, young guys hoping to get noticed coming up against a Broncos game on Friday night footy when everybody is watching....But our pack were embarrassed on Sunday and will be aiming up, so hopefully we can get away with the win.
