Now I wish I was going just so I could drive BP and Fozz down. I've done a few marathons in my time, Brisbane to Sydney and back with only a 2 hour stop was fun.

Seats were on special for $70, so all up it's going to cost me $140 to get there.

Not bad, but I'm going to have to keep myself entertained for 28 hours.

This. Considering the number of guys seemingly going by train you could have piled in a car and split the fuel. Fozz's reported flatulence could be an issue though.
