Ashley Klein is a corrupt dud

He made a similarly shit tackle attempt like this on Trell recently didn't he, and got steamrolled?

I really want to know what happened with the cat 2 call. Was it just channel nein making things up? Because if not, the doctor who diagnosed as cat 2 should have his licence torn up.

Also, how embarrassing is Annersley. The guy must be paid a lot of money to be the constant fall guy that everyone laughs out because he is so out of touch with reality.

So now, according to him, ANY shoulder to the head should be a send off because dropping rapidly as Koula was, is NOT mitigating circumstances according to him.

Bring back the Dylan Napa headbutt I guess because if you hit someone that way, its just an accident and play on regardless of what happens.

You mean the Radley-On-Carrigan Headbutt?

Koula pretty much punches walker in the moosh before all this happens aswell. On to the next game.

It's called a fend .
And is not an infringement.

Using the palm of your hand is fine . Making a fist or lifting your elbow to make contact is not .

It can actually make it easier to bring the guy down as he is offering you a lever to help drag him down.

Really? When was that rule changed? Can’t even recall the last time someone did a great fend let alone got penalised for it.

I’ve never seen a chasing defender win a penalty for getting fended in the head.

I guess it depends on context and how forceful it it, and it’s deemed to cross the line into striking rather than a push. Can’t think of any examples of that though

Also depends on how good a defender is at milking and feigning injury.

He is left footed .
Is he left side dominant ? Instinctively favours his left side ?

The classic cover tackle ah la Turvey Mortimer the head goes behind the runner not in front .
He came into the tackle vulnerable to getting his ribs caved in by putting his head and body in front of the runner .
Proper technique he would have not put himself in the same danger and not clashed heads .
He didn`t even know he was sent off till an official told him in the shed he says . So is that Cat 1 or Cat 2 concussion ?
And why no stand down he obviously failed the HIA test if he doesn`t realise he has been dismissed and not sin binned .

Koula was Cat 2- Slow to stand, possible balance issues, lying motionless for less than 5 seconds, dazed appearance, or unusual head shaking.

No way he was Cat 1-Loss of consciousness, impact seizure, tonic posturing, ataxia (stumbling/motor incoordination), becoming floppy, or a vacant/blank

Cat 2- is immediate removal and HIA assessment- which was followed.

Tried to find the old Hutton’s Footy Franks ‘Don’t Argue’ commercial…no luck. Pity, would have been interesting to see the quality of the fends. Ah, memories.

Greg Inglis went alright at them, I can’t remember him ever being penalised though.

He was pretty much retired before the serious HIA / head contact crack down started

Probably a rule like the ankle tap which is considered a trip by the rules but never enforced
