Quality effort. Best ourselves in that one. Literally threw away the game. Blair with a hail merry on 2nd 20 metres out.

As much as I would've loved to knock the warriors out of the finals I'm also glad we played that improv style right to the end, even if it did cost us just about every game :laugh:.

Surprised we didn't attempt any short kick-offs though.

It's all good. With an inexperienced team we lost in the last minute in 3 games i think... Thaiday and Blair thought they were playing touch footy lol...No injuries today ☺

Issako scored a good try but he is still raw. Very young though! Comes across as a utility, diverse skill set. Timu impressed me again.

Arrow looked quite good, had a noticeable impact. Few strong tackles but Blair, Offy, Glenn and Thaiday for the most minutes.

Foot note to the 9s . I ran into Ash Taylor at the Auckland casino last night . Seemed like a lovely young bloke . Had a good chat. He was completely munted though. Glad there were no headlines today.
