I didn't say he'd make a great captain, I'd say he'd be better than Clarke. That doesn't necessarily mean he'd be any good because Clarke is shit.

I didn't say he'd make a great captain, I'd say he'd be better than Clarke. That doesn't necessarily mean he'd be any good because Clarke is shit.

In reality we don't really know how Clarke will go as Captain. So far he has captained the T20 side quite well even if he shouldn't be in the team. He may or may not become a good captain, the jury is still out IMO.

Bollinger is injured and being kept in cotton wool for the Ashes. Harris is returning from a Knee injury and making his return for the Bulls today. Hilfy not really an ODI bowler on past performances but I must say I'd love to see him given a crack

I agree Beads. When I think Hilfenhaus, I think control, swing, variety, accuracy, brains.

Pretty much everything that the current attack is lacking.

It wouldn't hurt to give the team pet Siddle a rest in favour of someone with substantially more class with the ball.

I think our pace attack should be Harris, Bollinger and Lee or Hilfy for ODI's. Johnson needs to go back to shield cricket and get his mojo back and Siddle should not wear the green and gold for two years at the very least.

That's a fine attack. I'd go with that any day and would be confident in their ability to perform against any side.

Lee is our best ODI bowler by a long way IMO, sure he may go for runs on an off day but he is superb with the new pill and gets the ball to reverse when it is old which we are lacking in spades..

I'd be happer to give Tait a go he may be expensive but can destroy a team

Tait is injured and can't get through 10 overs, strictly a 20/20 specialist IMO. Punter has shown a lack of faith in spin since Warney retired, he loves Siddle so much he brings him one just so he can watch him jiggle.

Yeah bit in the wicket early and some poor shot from Sanga and Mahela... Starc looks very very good, I think in a year or 2 he could develop into an awesome quick. He needs to bulk up a tiny bit.

I'm loving the way that Gabba strip was playing - hopefully the Test strip has just as much life. Hilfy and the Rug would be salivating and Haury should be given drinks duties immediately.
