Why?Have to agree. Ridiculous for pro athletes on hundreds of thousands a year to be eating anything but a tailored diet. Maybe let loose after a win with pizza or whatever but 95% of meals in season should be controlled.
No more Maccas cards for new recruits and ask all current players to put them in the drawer for the on season. Bird can just have it cut up if has a problem.
Get all the young single blokes cooking classes and nutrition teaching with personal meal plans. Get culturally relevant and tasty fresh stuff. And for ones that don’t want to cook at training every day they get all meals provided takeaway. Most commercial premade stuff wouldn’t do. Need way more calories, protein and healthy fats I imagine. No sugars except just before training and games. Hire an in house specialist healthy food chef for the ‘leagues club’. How is this not being done?
