Ok, maybe not forgotten, but certainly has been out of mind. I was only thinking the other day when I heard that he'd been left out of the Wallaby side and the thought had crossed my mind on him as the perfect replacement for Lockyer. Then I read this on the Foxsports site http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,865 ... 17,00.html . Thoughts? eusa_think

Having known Berrick as he was growing up, I'd be surprised if he came back to League - he was always a true union boy. However as we've seen over the past couple of years, nothing should be ruled out when it comes to what code footballers will play. IF he does come back to league - I daresay he will play for St George (or wherever Wayne happens to be coaching), as it was Bennett that was the only reason he came to the league in the first place and I know he still has a pretty strong connection with Wayne.

I really rate him as a player and a good guy, I really hope if he were to come back that it might be with us.

Good player and all but no room at Brisbane for him imo.

Who cares about this guy.
We have great juniors, we don't need to buy players for the sake of it.

I'm sure he would ask for big dollars if he came back to league as well

He will have big money offers from overseas union. The Japanese and European clubs will drooling at the chance of signing a current Wallabies player especially one that can play at flyhalf. Whatever Gower, Gasiner, etc are on over there will easily be surpassed by Barnes.

And if it means HB ends up out of the country, bonus!

This is slanderous lies and rumourmongering. Be careful or the lawyers will be all over us again.
