Entirely opinion as we can't go off training averages but from what you have seen from our current players who kick who do you honestly think is our best?

I put all kickers in our current team who have kicked for us or anyone prior in first grade.

In my view while Reyno improved big off '23 in '24 which imo Walsh should have kicked, I think Overall Walsh is a better big game pressure kicker.

We are lucky though as we have 3 solid first grade kickers in Reyno, Walsh and Staggs, but I hope going forward we don't just keep with Reyno when he is on a bad run because honestly it looked stupid sometimes as he was missing easy ones.

I would rather just stick with Walsh because we know he is a long timer he loves the pressure and let's be real he will be our kicker once Reyno retires anyway.

Walsh would be my tip. With great responsibility comes great performance. Let the guy cook

Probably Walsh but not yet. Kotoni handy as a tertiary option. I’m sticking with Reynolds to see if last year was a bit of a blip for now though.

Something went amiss with his kicking. Perhaps he’s becoming conscious of the need to protect his hammys. If so understandable.

The 1st 5 minutes Walsh . OK .
After that he would be spewing on the grass or having a trainer hold his hand while he recovers from some effort he made .

I think Walsh needs to focus on getting all of the facets of his game right before he considers adding goal-kicking to his arsenal as a regular thing.

No doubt he's a very talented goal-kicker, but I think his time would be better spent working on his consistency and decision-making with and without the ball. He doesn't need the added pressure and responsibility of goal-kicking to distract him from that.

FWIW, I think he'd handle the goal-kicking just fine, but I'm wary of overloading a fella who's still relatively young and learning.

Man I must be old to remember our best lock goalkicker was a toepoker and he had to kick with sand and sometimes in mudheaps.
