Manly have the pick of the bunch

Geez, you've got to be happy if you're a Panthers or Eels fan going into 2014, don't you?

Manly and Roosters pick of the bunch closely followed by the Titans IMO.

Souths also appear to have the next Foran/DCE -type killer young-bloke combo, if those guys keep developing.

Brisbane: Milford/Hunt
Newcastle: Roberts/Mullen
Wests Tigers: Sironen/Brooks
South Sydney: Sutton/Reynolds
Warriors: Leuluai/Johnson
Canberra: Campese/McCrone
Bulldogs: Reynolds/Hodkinson
Penrith: Soward/Wallace
Manly: Foran/DCE
Melbourne: Finch/Cronk
Cronulla: Carney/Robson
North Queensland: Thurston/Lui
Easts: Maloney/Pearce
Gold Coast: Sezer/Kelly
Parramatta: Norman/Kelly
St George Illawarra: Widdop/Fien

The Tigers combo has a lot of potential as both Sironen and Brooks have great potential and are the halves to take them into the future.

Fien and Finch are retiring. And I strongly disagree about Fien being better than Williams anyway.

It all depends on if we get Milford. If we get Milford, it will be Milford and Hunt. If we don't sign him, then i'm guessing Hoffman will go to Five-Eighth, and we will keep Oates on the wing. (I seriously doubt Maranta or Copley have ever shown more promise than Oates)

Brooks and Moses are the Tigers' future in the halves. Sironen will move into the backrow soon.

And as Alec said, Finch is retiring, Hampton will likely be the Storm Five-Eight. And Dragons signed Sam Williams, who will replace Fien at halfback.

I reckon the Souths pairing isn't far behind.

That Keary kid looks like a gun.

With Sutton in the back row, it's an even better trio.
