Ended up taking Dustin Johnson as well as a mildly serious wager. Last week was a warm up for his favourite course, Pebble Beach.

Rest of my World Cup Bets

Top Batsman - Rohit Sharma. Plays in the easier group, 2 tons in past 3 games, has 2 career ODI double hundreds and will open. Simply outstanding bet IMO.
Player of the Tournament - Glenn Maxwell or Corey Anderson. Both big hitting players who can make quick fifties or hundreds which decide game. They also bowl and can take 3-4 wickets. Yuvraj won this last time out with 1 ton, 4 fifties, 362 runs and 15 wickets. Both these guys can do similar, particularly Anderson.
Fastest 100 - Shahid Afridi. Unlikely to happen but does have 3 of the fastest 30 ODI 100's in history. Odds of 51 way too big! (Unibet)

Bloody Hend with a bogie to end the day. He was looking good up until that point. I've got roughly 5 realistic shots for the final days play. Fingers crossed.

Except for Horschel, PB has been shit so far for me.

Find a way to lay one of my gomer golfers! Hoey 2 shots worse now than he was after 14 holes in Round 1. Pathetic!

McClenaghan somehow got dropped today too. No idea how, but it happened.

Pebble Beach looks like might last hope. Levin plays the easiest course today so hoping he can produce! Day shot like -9 today, so players well back can still get into it. I'd put that $1 on trying to find someone, but just don't put it on someone I like!

To expand on the above, of the current Top 25, only 1 of those players has played Monterrey Peninsula, so those playing Monterrey today who seem well back might shoot into contention. The most likely contenders are Jimmy Walker (100), Brian Stuard, Chris Stourd and Vijay Singh (All 300+)

This is a never ending bukkake!

@Harry Sack I'm still keen on Harman. I've actually taken him each way this week though as there's a lot of quality in the field and knowing my luck he'll pull a Stefani and run 2nd. This is a course that lends itself to repeat good performances (Harman was 3rd last year) and it's also well set up for left handed players. Mickelson has won here twice, Mike Weir has won here twice and Bubba won here last year.

PS Harry - It should be rather obvious that I'm backing Keegan this week. This is a course where he has a previous Top 3 on!

@ningnangnong I don't know what accounts you have but there is (was?) $10 floating about Clinton Gutherson top scoring for Manly this year. Given he'll likely replace Taufua that should be good value. Of course, based on McClenaghan history, it'll probably be Cheyse Blair who gets the spot!

Once again, I don't know what to do this week. That's a strong field. I'm a sucker for punishment so will likely put a little on Spieth and maybe a little something on my boy Weis @61. Matsu and Woodland have both been disappointing thus far so maybe they're due.

Not even touching India at this stage.

I'm not touching India with a 10 foot pole. I don't even know who half the field is!

I don't recall any maiden winners at this event and it really is a super high quality field so there's some odds about. I don't really know if this is the right track for him, but I'm keeping a super keen eye on Lucas Glover. He looks to be returning to good form and I can see him winning at some stage this season. Contended Sanderson Farms last year and Farmers Insurance this year after years in the wilderness.

I'm on Hend for FRL and a couple of other rank outsiders overall. Like you, I've never heard of half of these guys lol. Wade Ormsby my only serious bet in India.
