Well done Sack, I had a shit day. I've waited 2 weeks for Staviva only to miss the kick by 2 lengths, to top off my day I had a 10 quin of Boban and Generalife which was beaten an eyelash into third and the only place it was behind was on the post.

Tonight's an interesting betting stage, some riders not as big as I would have hoped but I can see a number of scenarios where Aru and Contador don't win. The first is a big break is allowed to go because Contador doesn't need to win, just keep his time gap. Best breakaway bets:

Benat Intxausti @ 17
Mikel Nieve @ 51
Sylvester Szymd @ 126

The other option is Astana push hard to isolate Contador and one of their strong climbers that isn't Aru attacks and Contador doesn't bother to follow:

Mikel Landa @ 11
Tanel Kangert @ 101

Kangert may also win from a break.

An is annoying. Was clearly going to win soon but the PGA didn't seem like the venue for new winners.

I would think Grillo is the next to win but good luck getting decent odds for it.

Onto tonight's game and sadly I feel our pack is too weak. As such, Knights 1-12 looks a strong bet to me. That said, the special of Broncos to win and Milford to score @ 7.20 is worth a go too.

I'm with you on tonights game as well, I think this will be tight but they'll get over us in the end. I'm feeling a try from someone reasonably unexpected tonight. Someone like Offa or Molo.

So glad Milford scored last night.

Onto tonight and it's all about the Mikels. I believe the most likely outcome is that Astana isolate contador and the favourites against contest the stage. If this is the case, I feel compelled to stick with Mikel Landa. I feel he is climbing better than not only Aru but also Contador. Bertie only really needs to mark Aru too, so I feel Landa is the value.

If a break does succeed, then the best value bet for me is Mikel Nieve. He's a master at winning this kind of stage from a break.

I've also had very small stakes on Szymd, Reichenbach, Anton and Izaguirre. They are all likely to look for the break but my hesistance in the break succeeding keeps stakes small. Except for Nieve that is.

I tried to but the bloody market was off. According to centrebet there was 10 mins left but it wouldn't let me put the bet on, suddenly I heard from the lounge room that the game was on. I was only trying to get on the Milford to score bet though. Ah well, Ari's cycling bets are fucking gun so I'm not too annoyed.

Didn't even realise the markets were up! Your love of Keegan will pay off.......one day. I'm hoping my love of Finau will pay dividends this week. I'll be taking my time with my selections this week unlike last, because if I had, I would have spotted An and had a small stake on him. When I spot one of my faves at long odds I'll generally have a play.
