I like Cameron Smith in the US but not his time yet, needs more experience

$251 is for the win, which is probably beyond him. He has a (relatively) superb First Round lead record though. 8 times First round lead or co-lead from 368 events and he won at this course as an amateur. Shot a 64 last week in 2nd round, had I think 8 birdies in like 11 holes.

I'm a fan of Smith too but agree he needs more experience. Could maybe see him winning a lesser co-sanctioned event or something like True South though.

Worth noting too that the Byron Nelson seems to predict bad weather. Dustin Johnson has a ridiculously good record in weather reduced events.

I double dipped actually. Usually hate that Tom/Sporting/Centrebet all share odds and markets, but this is the rare occasion it worked out for the better.

@Harry Sack Do I really need to point out how much I love the E/W 40-1 on Keegan this week? I didn't think so!

Main bet tonight is Enrico Battaglin. Can get 67s, E/W probably recommended here.

This stage is a lot harder to call so could go either way and the pool of potential winners is much bigger, so chances of tipping another winner are less, but mostly the odds are higher. The others I've specced to small stakes are: Tom Jelte Slagter (120), Diego Ulissi (50), Adam Hansen (60), Grega Bole (80) and Visconti (80). A saver on Gilbert (15) also recommended.

For Origin, I've taken Darius first tryscorer @ 9 and QLD 1-12 @ 2.88

Nicely played. NRL.com has him at 130. Since the bookmakers dropped stats bets for the regular season I cashed out and haven't been tracking stats but I found an old account last night with 70 bucks in it which I split across: Jackson under 32.5 tackles (final count 23), Guerra under 32.5t (26), Myles over 94.5m (107), Myles over 36.5t (39), Parker over 100.5m (113), Hoffman over 90.5m (119) and Tamou under 110.5m (99). Game two and three will be trickier though as for the most part the just set the over-unders to whatever the players did tonight.

Tonight I'm more confident of a break, but sadly all the likely contenders are priced accordingly. Not a lot of value in tonight's stage IMO but have gone:

No he's still around. Just so unlikely I guess. I mean, if he's in the break, he's going to be favourite. But the chances of him being there aren't great given he's got to serve Contador. But you never quite know, so I took the shot, mostly because he's been very prolific on this kind of stage profile.

It seems a little bit too much like a straight fantasy comp for me - I can predict tackles and metres but tries/offloads/tackle breaks are well outside my wheelhouse.

Probably a Contador v Landa stage and for once Landa is priced correctly. However, I see a chance for a strong climber to win from a break or through a sprint via the flatness at the top.
