BHQ Grand Final Tickets

It's almost cheaper to charter a private jet down than it is to fly commercially.

The airlines are price gouging.

Hope something is done about it.

It's pretty steep.

Think it's a bridge too far at this point. Once you factor in all the additional costs, it's going to be clear of $1500. Hard to justify to myself, let alone the wife. I did promise a new bathroom by Christmas...

Disappointing to be sure, but hey, still amazed that we're here at all. This year's exceeded my expectations by some measure, and I can't help but be thankful for that.

Hopefully we're right in the mix for years to come!

Well, these price increases are not going to get more fans to the game. Especially when it's clubs that are not in NSW and most of their supporter base is not in NSW.

It's pretty ridiculous that the prices are the way they are, but not much can really be done about it.

Apparently it's up to $1500 from WA to NSW... You can go overseas for that. My brother went to Taiwan for less than $1000 in December..

And I don't see why the clubs can't do more to help fans get down there.. Get some buses and drive them down.

I heard some crazy guy is inviting people to his GF BBQ. And is jumping on every sob story to spruik it. Sounds like a tops arvo.

I would go, but I would have no way of getting home that night.

Do you have to get home that night.

It's a public holiday on the Monday.

I didn't realize I posted that in the GF Tickets thread. I meant to Morkel's BBQ.

Even if I was to go to Sydney, I would need to be heading back that night. I wouldn't have the money for accommodation.

We've got a whole house to ourselves thanks to Airbnb, driving down with a full car load of people means we're only spending about $400 per person for food, fuel, tickets and accommodation

i tweeted to the broncos asking if they'd do this last week. didnt get a reply. (i get that some social media punk probably doesnt know anyway).

but i agree. broncos could easily fill a few buses. i guess logistically it could become pretty difficult to organise, especially with everything else going on. but they could try.

but damn. imagine a BNE->SYD bus full of broncos fans all getting gee'd up for the game.

also i read this morning that the cowboys are chartering their own flights and onselling seats to fans. so if they can do it, surely we can organise a few buses....

regardless, i already paid $800 return for plane tickets.

Plenty of spare rooms. The bloody kids sleep in our bed, so there are at least two beds you can choose from. One of which is at the other end of our house, far far away from my snoring.

And there's enough floor room in the TV room to hold a full incapacitated team of 17.

anyone thats been to ANZ whats it like to get out there? is the train the easiest thing to do? from sydney central area?

What time are you hoping to get out there by?
broncos4life - What are you travel plans?

Absolutely get the train if you're going from Central.

They'll have 'em running every 15/30 minutes or something like that. All you do is hop on, it'll probably stop once at Strathfield and then go straight to Olympic Park.

Much easier than anything else, especially as it's free with your match ticket.

thanks. yeah i'll be coming from the city.

i'll probably get out there early ish. maybe 4pm. are there bars near the stadium? (outside of the stadium)

We are aiming for the same. So if you want a free lift, I'm happy to help. We might be taking broncos4life and his old man too.

thanks for the offer! though I'll be with my uncle and a few others, so we'll probably all roll with the train.

i do still have a spare ticket at the moment. at this stage i'll be sitting alone with a spare seat beside me hahah
