Thaiday and Te'o have easily retained their starting spots in the back row, and now it is time to complete the starting lineup. Who will wear the number 13?

Has to be Parker. IMO he was our most consistent player last year.

And I don't want anyone telling me that Parker off the bench wouldn't work because he's not an "impact" player because that's BS.

But Parker's strength is his endurance and workrate. He wouldn't be as valuable to the team coming off the bench.

Unless he changes his game of course, bulks up and shifts into prop, which I think he should do because we've still got Alex Glenn to think about - his best spot is in the backrow as well I reckon.

It's a luxury problem for Henjak.
When you have the best backrow in the comp, utilise them as much as possible.

I think it's worth a trial to put Parker and Thaiday in the front row (one at the time of course) and see how they perform there.
Gillett would be the lock for mine, with Te'o and one of Parker/Thaiday making up the second row.
Glenn should be our utility imo.

Agree with this, especially your second point.

I know everyone is starting to see Glenn as a utility player, but I want to see him given an opportunity at lock. He's a fantastic talent and I'd hate to see his ability go to waste by becoming the guy who can play everywhere.

I don't think Glenn will ever get the opportunity to make the number 13 his own, not with the amount of talent we have in the back row.

Glenn is a different type of player to Gillett and Te'o IMO.

It'll depend on what Henjak wants his lock to do.

I definitely think gillet will force his way into the lock position in the next few years which would probably put parker into the 2nd row with Teo going to the bench

But reverse that and I don't particularly mind. We have a wealth of back row talent which is great.

I picked Glenn but that was under the proviso Parker is in the back row where I voted for him. With Te'o and Parker in 11 and 12 and Glenn at 13 and Gillett as the game changer off the bench.
