Billy gets a -1 from me if anything(yeah, yeah) Gave up on that intercept chase almost straight away. He had been on the field ten minutes if that.
Billy at 14's in Biro now. He's been pretty good there the last few weeks. Running any distance has never been in his job description. He gasses at 10 metres and 15-20 minutes. A man has to know his limitations.

I suspect the conversation around him would be the diametric opposite if he were elevated to 9. The spotlight is on Hunt now.

14 is not broken. Least of our concerns.

Hunt is playing pissed off because he doesn't get 80 minutes, you can tell. Not that I think that's what should be happening. In his mind a player of his stature doesn't belong anywhere near the bench.

Credit to Riki, he’s finally decided to rip in and run the ball with a bit of venom.

The pointless shimmy before the line is gone, occasionally replaced with a half goose-step to power off a standing start, but otherwise he’s hitting the line at what seems to be full-speed. Now needs to do it all the time and against better teams, but it’s promising and nice to have some metres from the right 2RF

Talty and Mariner get my other votes

Bench is literally Hunt's specialist position at rep level.

I like having a 9 service the spine and a 14 inject some fresh momentum against tired forwards. I think the fact that even Billy, who is no speedster, is able to do that is a comment on the prep done by our 9. Hunt is way under the radar right now.

I don't know whether Paix, Mozer or Bukovski might be able to inject a little more spark, but Paix failed to seal the deal after ample opportunities, Mozer is gone for the season, and Bukovski is probably too green.

Ironically, Billy gets the 14 through weight of experience and having a few star turns in his brief stints over the last few games.

It might not be perfect but our wings are less settled, and entire forward pack is in flux. If I were to ring the bell about one player, it would be Adam Reynolds, and he has zero pressure from anyone else. At least he's kicking goals.
