I was surprised to see Herbie made the most metres (187), given how little he did with the ball. He apparently also passed the ball 6 times (2 offloads). I remember at least one 11th hour shocker, but I can't recall him trying to set up Oatesy in his 200th.

I suppose we'll miss his workload next season - he consistently racks up the numbers and everyone says how amazing he is - but to be brutally honest, I'm a bit over his style of against-the-grain attack and am tentatively looking forward to someone else taking his place. Deine or Selwyn, I presume.

Still, I hope he manages to go out with a bang and bag a few tries in the finals.
Well he did create a line break for Cobbo when he was in the middle, he has done that play a few times this year.

Mariner also has a high work rate, he will help to cover Herbie's metres.

Herbie is without doubt a 100% player who gives his all each game. The meters he makes are mostly from the tough 1st/2nd carries. Most of the Broncos main play goes to the right, Herbie too has limited good ball and what ever ball he may receive you can guarantee he will go for it one way or another. Herbie's and the rest of our young players development is continuous and progressive.

Walsh has closed in on Haas quite a bit.
You know it's good cap management when our highest paid players are actually rating as our best players. It's a nice change from years gone by where almost all our big earners were awful value.

DD's cap management since coming back has been nothing short of incredible.
