Riki. Apart from the offload that was a perfect second row game. Tough hit ups, kick chase and so good at cleaning up defensively.
Willison. Thats a premier middle performance.
Reynolds. That first half set the tone of the game and he defended brilliantly
 
Slept on it and watched a replay this morning.

But it could’ve easily been Staggs, Mam or Riki in that 3rd spot. Congrats to the debutants too. Seeing Priki backing up on the inside on the Paix try showed great effort.
 
Willison, Reynolds, Mariner, Staggs. the list goes on. It's worth noting Paix has increasingly grown into the 9 to the point where the position isn't broken, albeit without the attacking flair we briefly saw from Bukowski and Mozer.

On a weird note, Reynolds has led from the front with the entire team looking more cohesive in the absence of Patty. I don't know what that means if anything.

Kind of hard to do a graphic for Reynolds when he doesn't really have any stats that are worth putting on there...

Swapped Reno out for Deine, thought he deserved the love.
Helped a bit.
 
2 tries from short side raids .
1 on the right caught Burton on the ground and not in positionn after a tackle Perham quick hands to Riki - Mariner ,in the corner .
Then Critchton gets caught at marker so their right has players out of position . Ezra fires the cut out to Karapani on the left wing, and the rest is highlight reel material .

Very good awareness by the play makers .

Didnt say he was the worst, just lost points for making schoolboy errors where others didn't. Blatant forward pass lost him a point. In fact Maam played well overall, but that forward pass was amateur.

Well if everyone got 3 except mam who got 2, that literally makes him the worst

I know Payne has missed a couple of games, but it's so weird seeing him sit all the way down in 7th

And the guy many people wanted to retire at the end of last season sitting in 2nd

Agree . Playing more direct down the middle and not so much with the ball playing forward is looking good. I've never been a fan of that style.
Paix looks to have improved his dummy half work.
Is that Cam Smith having an influence?
I'd love to see his attack continue to improve, we'd have a pretty decent 9 by seasons end.
