He does look to have a fair bit of size about him which is good. He will be able to play prop as well as second row.

Have any English forwards done well in Brisbane though? It's warmer here in our midwinter than it is in northern England in midsummer. That's a hell of an adjustment for them, we're talking about people for whom 25 degrees is a heatwave.

Definitely a forward I would have gladly had at the Broncos for longer then was at the club, he was enormous for us in 2000. However comparing him to Andre, Howard was already a proven performer in the ARL/NRL comps.

Howard was like a Maserati in a gaggle of Kia's.....before he came to Brisbane. When he got here he finally played in his correct class. I remember watching him play in Sydney thinking, here's a guy doing all the hard stuff and the bums he was surrounded by just couldn't aim up.
