CRICKET Big Bash Discussion

**** sake ... what is with the tail enders in this team... keep it along the ground and give it to the actual batsmen

**** me that’s a huge win from where we were, Bryant and Renners amazing!

Partnership of 108 off 51 balls... fucking hell that is insane from when they started

Definitely aided by some absolutely terrible bowling by Agar and Green late but take a bow Bryant, clear MVP.

Not often a side wins in spite of its coach and captain yet tonight they did, well done.

Don’t care who is available next game, drop Munro, bloke cost a quarter of the innings playing like a test match.

Wes going 1/61 off 3.5 overs... **** that is bad... has to be up there for all time worst figures in a T20

Everyone else was pretty well fine except for Green's last over that went for 22... prior to that he was 20 runs off 3 overs

Another innings or two like this, I could see Bryant making the next Aus T20 side.

As always, I need to make lists, so how about this for an experimental XI based on the first half of the BBL:

1. Lynn
2. Owen
3. Connolly
4. Maxwell
5. Bryant
6. Inglis
7. Stoinis
8. Green
9. Ellis
10. Johnson
11. Thornton

Thunder went completely away from bowling back of a length into the wicket and started bowling full right into Bryant's strength

I think he needs to get better at spin and need to see it consistently for the remaining BBL matches, but if he can then he should be in the conversations.

This has felt like his most consistent season to date and it felt like with his hitting that he could be a dangerous player down at 5 ever since he started making appearances there last year.

I really felt like he manipulated them. It’s the first season I’ve actually felt like he’s realised the importance of gears and that he has an immense enough talent he can use them.

Tonight was Maxwell like, it was that good.

That really was something else, what were they? 3-53 at the end of 10 overs. Just incredible. Obviously we need to see it consistently but Max Bryant has gone from "oh no Bryant's in well we are fucked now" to the saviour of multiple games.
