Brian Smith is not afraid to a curve ball - so when veteran coach asked Sydney Roosters recruit Todd Carney to play fullback, the playmaker was immediately caught in two minds.

"I thought he was asking me a trick question," Carney recalled of the proposed switch from his usual position in the halves. "I didn't know how to take it."

Locky Went 1 to 6 mr Smith. kinda along the same lines as 6 to 1.
 
Anasta went from five-eighth to fullback last season......that went well.
 
I like this idea. I think it could work very well.
 
Greg Alexander went from being a halfback to Fullback. So did Mark McLinden. K Gidley started his career in the halves. There are a few other examples. How is this even a story?
 
It's the off season for journos too.
 
Apparently it will be Nate Myles this year.
